We are excited to announce that MatTek has acquired the manufacturing equipment, inventory, customers and IP that is related to the mats and matting division of Versatile Technologies (Aust) Pty Ltd.

Who is MatTek?

MatTek is a Family owned matting manufacturer and wholesaler servicing Australia wide that is focussed on our distributors and ensuring your success selling mats and matting.

What will this acquisition mean for you?

This will mean that you will see an increased level of service, faster turnaround, a larger range to offer your customer and we guarantee you will receive the highest and support throughout Australia. We are focussed on making floors safe, keeping buildings and making staff happy by putting the correct mat under foot. We deliver this promise by having the highest levels of stock, dedicated account managers, same day despatch and sales reps in every State and Territory.

Included in this transaction was this website (as is) & current logos and we will continually update you with new products and specials as they become available.

In the coming months we will have new websites launched for Matting Industries of Australia, Instant Impact, Versatile Matting and Advanced Matting.

Below is the email message originally sent to you from your former contact Tracy Mighell:

After 15 years of manufacturing the Instant Impact range of Bar Runners and Matting Industries / Advanced Matting range of matting products, Versatile Technologies has decided to shut down our factory in Seven Hills. Our plant and equipment has been sold to an entity (MatTek) that intends to re commission the plant and should be up and running for the new financial year. We have also included all of our commercial matting stock as part of the transaction.

The new company involved will be in touch shortly to provide their ongoing contact details, we believe this is a positive move for all concerned with the Instant Impact brand quality to continue with the added advantage of additional products being made available to all of our loyal customers.

We will also be transferring some of our trading names and IP as part of the sale. This process should be completed by the 12th of June 2018.

In saying this, Versatile Technologies (Aust) Pty Ltd is not part of the sale and will continue to trade with our promotional / point of sale products. Our trading name will change to TLC Promotions in the next few weeks.
